A family made up of many different people\u2014each with their own ideas, tastes, beliefs, and skills\u2014yet united by a few principles that shape our way of life, inside and outside the company: respect, empathy, sensitivity, and altruism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">Over time, we\u2019ve worked to build a more welcoming workplace, day after day. Like a true family, we\u2019ve developed a genuine bond of trust across the team\u2014always ready to help and to do good. That\u2019s what family means to us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">Family also means listening and taking care of our people\u2014both in terms of professional growth and in the very real sense of health and prevention. In 2023 we focused strongly on well-being and prevention, launching initiatives that supported emotional and psychological health, alongside medical prevention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">Over the past year, we built a relationship with LILT \u2014 the Italian League for the Fight Against Cancer, an organization that has long been at the forefront of these issues. The partnership worked right away. We started with company-sponsored screenings for all employees, focusing on statistically significant health areas, such as breast cancer screenings for women and prostate cancer screenings for men.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"https:\/\/gelit.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Storie_2023_persone_gruppo2-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1168\" srcset=\"https:\/\/gelit.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Storie_2023_persone_gruppo2-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/gelit.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Storie_2023_persone_gruppo2-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/gelit.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Storie_2023_persone_gruppo2-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/gelit.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Storie_2023_persone_gruppo2.jpg 1500w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The response was stronger than expected. Participation exceeded our early forecasts, with 113 people involved (78 men and 35 women) across the on-site screening days.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">That\u2019s why we plan to continue and improve the program in the coming year, bringing in new prevention initiatives to support every member of our big family. A small spoiler: we\u2019re considering adding mole mapping screenings.
