Wednesday 11 December we will be holding our first IMPACT DAY, a meeting dedicated to the main areas of corporate sustainability, organised in collaboration with the Nativa team.
The goal for this first date is to contribute to the creation of a shared course of action in areas that have seen GELIT on the front line for years, and which are now imperative themes for every business.
The meeting focused on 3 key elements of sustainability (reducing emissions, improving use of water resources, and promoting a culture of sustainability in the workplace), and it is built around two complementary stages. The first one is dedicated to the presentation of data and examples taken from case studies and best practices; the second is orientated around active involvement with preparation of a kind of “workshop” where it is possible to talk and exchange ideas, to brainstorm about how to develop integration and collaboration between companies on the subject of sustainability.
For this first edition, involvement in the IMPACT DAY was limited to a small number of suppliers, but there are already plans in place to expand the experience, with the main aim of involving all of our partners within a short space of time. Also because the pathway to sustainability is a route that requires perseverance, a shared purpose and the ability to pool different skill sets. Only if we walk the path together, with a shared objective, can we be sure of reaching the top. Together.
